PLEASE NOTE...Information on this site is, as of November 1, 2016,
a speculative, but substantive proposal-- awaiting completed
constructionand final approval by the Emancipation Park
Conservancy Board and the City of Houston Parks
and Recreation Department.

The official opening of Emancipation Park has been
rescheduled to Juneteenth 2017...the weekend of June 17-19, 2017.
